Stacy and Michael’s wedding was at one of my very favorite venues, the Palmer House Hotel. The Palmer House just screams old world elegance and it’s the birth place of brownies as well. It always seems fitting that a Hotel that was founded as a gift of love from husband to wife is a great place to launch a new marriage. When I’m not shooting weddings, one of the other things I shoot very often is politics, and that’s how I first met Stacy who also works in politics, and there where lots of political folks breaking loose at this super fun wedding. Like many of the weddings I’ve shot at the Palmer House Stacy and Michael both seemed to really see the place as an integral part of the wedding. Both the service and the reception took place in the Empire room which is right off of the lobby of the hotel so that amazing tiled ceiling is a backdrop for the day. After the Ceremony Nora from Toast and Jam got everybody up and rocking the dance floor, toast and Jam always knows how to keep the party going and people danced all night at this reception. It was a super fun day to be a part of.
